Partner Sales Manager
Map the ecosystem. Own the relationships. Help us build Norway's most powerful partner-led growth engine.
The hardest part of partner management isn't signing partners. The hard part is turning a list of agreements into a live revenue channel, one where partners are enabled, engaged, and actively generating pipeline week after week. That's the gap this role exists to close.
Simployer is an HR-tech company helping organisations manage their people more effectively. Norway is our most mature market: strongest brand recognition, and the largest installed customer base. Now we're building our partnership network to go hand-in-hand with our direct sales efforts.
We're looking for someone who gets energised by questions like:
What if our best growth drivers were our partners?
How do we turn a signed agreement into a pipeline-generating machine?
What would it take to build a partner motion in Norway that becomes the blueprint for the Nordics, and beyond?
As our Partner Sales Manager Norway, you'll own the full partner lifecycle, from identifying the right ecosystem players to running the commercial rhythms that keep those relationships active and generating revenue.
Your mission
Your job is to build a scalable, partner-led growth engine in Norway. Norway has everything a partner motion needs to succeed: a credible brand, a large customer base, and an ecosystem of potential partners that's largely untapped. Your mission is to change that.
You'll identify the partners worth betting on, build the structures and joint go-to-market plans that set them up to succeed, and own the pipeline and ARR targets that come with it. This is a revenue role. You'll run business reviews, track partner performance, and be accountable for real commercial outcomes.
You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success across Norway, and report directly to the Head of Partnerships & Internationalisation. The goal is to prove the model in Norway first, then help it travel.
You will thrive here if…
You've built or activated B2B partnerships that generated real pipeline, and you can talk about the outcomes
You're commercially driven: you understand ARR, partner-sourced opportunities, and conversion rates, and you're comfortable owning targets
You can build a structured partner growth plan and execute it without someone chasing you, high autonomy and high accountability are the same thing to you
You've worked in SaaS, HR tech, payroll, ERP or related software, or you're genuinely curious about the space and pick things up fast
You're fluent in Norwegian and English and confident engaging senior stakeholders in both
You know how to move things forward without formal authority, inside the business and inside partner organisations
You're energised by building something from the ground up, not just managing what already exists
You're comfortable in Salesforce or a comparable CRM and use it to run your pipeline
What you bring
We're not big on long checklists, and if this mission resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you. That said, a few things you'll need to succeed: fluency in Norwegian and English, experience from B2B sales, partnerships, channel sales or account management, and the ability to work from our Oslo office at least 3 days per week.
You don't need to have built a full partner programme before. But you do need to feel ready to build one, and excited about what it means to do that in Norway's most established HR-tech market.
A message from the hiring manager
Norway is where Simployer’s partner strategy has the best opportunity to scale first. We have the brand, the customer base, and a strong ecosystem, now we need the right person to turn that potential into commercial impact.
I’m looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution: building the partner motion, creating strong relationships, and driving measurable sales results through partners.
If you enjoy building something from the ground up, owning commercial outcomes, and seeing the direct impact of your work in a market that is ready for it, I’d love to talk.

How do I prepare for a meet & greet?
The Meet & Greet is a first conversation where we get to know each other better.
You’ll meet the hiring manager and someone from our People & Culture team. We’ll share more about the role, the team, and Simployer as a company, and we’ll ask some competence-based questions related to your experience.
There’s no need to prepare anything specific in advance. It can still be helpful to have a few real examples from your previous experience in mind, as we’re interested in how you’ve approached different situations and responsibilities.
Just as importantly, this is your opportunity to ask us questions, about the role, the team, our way of working, or Simployer in general. We want the conversation to feel open, relaxed, and mutual -
How do I prepare for an intro chat?
This is a relaxed first chat with one of our recruiters - no stress, no trick questions.
It’s meant to be a two-way conversation where you get to know us and the role a bit better, and we’ll ask a few questions to understand your background and what you’re looking for. No preparation needed. We’ll also touch on practical stuff like salary expectations and your notice period, so it’s a good idea to think about that beforehand. And yes, there’s time for your questions too!
Overall, we’ll keep it high level and fairly short. -
Can I apply even if I don't meet every requirement?
Definitely! If you tick some of the boxes and feel excited about the role, go for it 😊
We don’t expect anyone to match every requirement perfectly, we also value potential, curiosity, and learning mindset. And if you want to share what motivates you, a short personal letter is a great way to tell us why you think this role is made for you.
-
Will I receive feedback if I'm not selected?
We always make sure you hear from us, whether you move forward in the process or not. If you’ve been through interviews or assessments, we aim to give meaningful feedback whenever possible. Please feel free to let us know what kind of feedback you are looking for, and we'll try our best to adapt to that. However, at the application stage we unfortunately aren’t able to provide detailed feedback to everyone.
